A Japan based company has started selling raw and fried oysters in a vending machine. To try to increase sales, Farm Suzuki is looking at more direct to consumer sales in addition to the traditional approaches selling oysters that the pandemic has hindered. 

The proposed bill would increase the harvesting season by 30 days using patent tongs. Patent tongs allow farmers to generate higher yields as opposed to hand tongs.

360 oyster reef balls have been installed close to the Chula Vista Wildlife Refuge, each weighing about a half ton. These reef balls will help new oysters grow which in turn will help with erosion and pollutants in the water.
 
Anna Maria Oyster Bar is raising money by donating a portion of the sales from their baby back ribs. The fundraiser is on February 24, 2022 at all of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar locations.
